Lose some, gain some

I'm writing this post to distract myself from the chocolate chip waffles calling my name from the freezer.

It's been a rough couple of months, and it's been a long time since I've posted!

The Good News:

  • I love working at KSL.com. It's been a blast, and I love being able to write and be in news again. Bummer it's not full time, but I'll take what I can get!
  • This may be our last frigid winter.
  • I'm still loving my pixie hair. I've almost got the perfect cut, but I'm amazed at how different each cut can be and how it helps me realize what I do and do not want.
  • I bought pink pants. It's kind of a big deal for me because I'm actually really boring. I like a lot of black, or jeans and t-shirts. But I love these pants!
  • I had an awesome 24th birthday! I spent it with my amazing friends. 24 is more fun than 23, or so they say.

The Bad News:

  • Winter sucks. The dogs really hate this winter, as do we all. It's been particularly rough on them because they refuse to walk outside for more than 45 seconds.
  • I gained a few pounds after losing so much. It was horrifying, but I guess I'm motivated again. 
  • To add to my motivation, my friend and I bought these cute pants in the size we want to be. They're hanging on my closet door to remind me every day.
  • I'm exhausted, constantly. Working two jobs makes for a nice paycheck, but it's really tiring. When I get home from one job, I start thinking about the other.
  • Since Christmas, I haven't been able to stop eating sugar. It's been my downfall for sure, and I don't know how to stop!
Regardless, I'm back on track and going to lose the last of my weight by August. So there's that. 

Anyone have any ideas how to stop the sugar cravings I have 24/7?

  1. i think you look great cait!! whenever i have a sugar craving i try to just eat fruit and that usually works.
