Weight Loss Adventures: Races Galore

So I signed up for a 10k. And then I signed up for a 5k. Somewhere along the road I decided I wasn't going to do the half marathon because it was too soon, but then I decided o do it anyway because I'll totally be ready.

I may run it really, really slow. But I'll be ready. (I ran 9 miles last weekend and will be doing a 10-mile run on Saturday.)

So I'm signed up for a million races and I am so excited. October is going to be filled with cool racing shirts, free food and lots of burned calories.

Oct. 13th: Oktoberfest 10k
Oct. 20th: Haunted Half Marathon
Oct. 26th: Zombie 5k

That means I'll be running a race almost every weekend. It may seem a little crazy, but I'm a lot more motivated to run when I have an end goal in mind, especially if it's a race. And I'm not going to be super competitive or anything: my goal here is just to finish each race and do the best I can.

If anyone else is running these races or wants to join me, let me know!
